I came across an article that has great ideas to help make your home more enjoyable when you have limited space. From floating shelves to a rounded table as well as investing in the furniture you really want rather than settling for the cheaper version. Which personally is always a struggle for me even though it makes sense. Quality over quantity I have to keep telling myself.
I’ve lived in a two bedroom apartment for many years, with two kids and now we currently live in a smaller home ( 950 sq.ft. upstairs and 950 sq.ft. in the basement). I find these tips and techniques helpful so I can apply them to my home. These fresh perspectives help to not only utilize the existing space but also ways to be creative and inventive with the furnishings I already own. Plus, they reference how being a minimalist is helpful, another item I struggle with in my household. I have a hard time of letting things go but it is true that it the more stuff you have creates clutter and can create chaos. It is nice to have only the minimal items needed. You feel more organized, which again, I’m still working on this too.
I hope you find this article as helpful as I did and if you have any ideas please share them with us.
