Spring break is here! Time for some fun to begin in and around Denver this weekend! Here are some highlighted events you might want to catch:
Denver March Powwow, Saturday, March 24th, 25th & 26th @ the Denver Coliseum, tickets are sold at the doors, $7 per day and children 6 and under are free. Come enjoy dancing, food, art, and storytelling. With over 1,600 dancers from almost 100 tribes. This is a unique and fun experience for the whole family.
Beautiful Junk Sale, Saturday, March 25th @ Jefferson County Fairgrounds, admission is $4, with a $1-off discount if you bring two non-perishable food donations. There will be 10,500 square feet of bargain items! This will help get a jump on those garage sale items. One person’s junk could be someone else’s treasure.
If you are an anime fan then you won’t want to miss Colorado Anime Fest, March 24th, 25th & 26th @ the Denver Renaissance Stapleton Hotel. The fest has an anime bar, manga library, a vendor’s hall, a maid cafe, Japanese culture panels and more.
Mercury Cafe is hosting The Magic Within for two hours on Saturday, March 25th, starting at 7 pm. Tickets are $10. Magician Erica Sodos will amaze with telepathy, predictions and a psychic Q & A where she will look into her crystal ball!
Turn back in time at the Vintage Voltage Expo on March 26th @ the Ramada Plaza Convention Center in Northglenn. Come reminisce the old days with 8 tracks, turntables, walkmans, stereos and more. There will be a guitar show, swap meet, and flea market. Tickets are $5, children 12 and younger are free.
Aquatique, 851 Santa Fe Dr, from 5:00-10pm Mar 3-April 3, Free. This is a collaborative between photographer and mixed media artist Gina Burg and illustrator and painter Elle Powell.
