This weekend there are a lot of really fun and unique activities. I’ve gathered some that are in the metro Denver and surrounding areas. There are events that can entertain everyone in your family.
Starting up north in Thornton they are having Movie on the Field: Beetlejuice on Sunday Oct. 16th @ 6:45. Bring a blanket, chairs and there is popcorn, drinks and even beer and wine for purchase, or bring your own.
Head into Denver and you catch the First Annual Platte Park pumpkin patch, Saturday, Oct. 15th from 10-4pm. The event is free and there will be raffles and donations will be accepted to support Asbury Elementary.
If you live or are heading down south there is the Choctober Fest in Aurora at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, Saturday, Oct. 15th from 10-6. I mean, is there really much to explain? Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! There will also be chocolate for the 21+ including a chocolate happy hour! Need I say more? YUM!
Last but not least, this is an event not for this weekend but for next Wednesday so make sure to mark your calendars. Denver Botanic gardens is doing a Glow at the Gardens: Fables & Fairy Tales. It will be from 6-9:30 pm, with live music, free face painting, costume contest, Scavenger hunt, LED circus performers, and more!
As always, if you know of some great events happening in your area please drop me a message! And if you have went to any great events please share them with us!
Have a great weekend!
