The time has come! Restaurant week is fast approaching! If you don’t know about Denver’s Restaurant Week, I’m here to tell you all about this fantastic week. It starts on February 24th-March 5th.
This is a week when over 250 restaurants sign up to be included in this spectacular showcase of food. The menus can include appetizers, entrees, desserts and more! This year they have put it into three price categories, $25, $35 & $45 a person, check out the menus beforehand. This helps to plan which restaurant or restaurants you want to try. There is something to accommodate all budgets. I will say I highly recommend making your reservations early because the popular restaurants fill up fast!
I like to think of restaurant week as a time to not only splurge but also to sample and experience restaurants you’ve always wanted to try without having to spend too much money on the off chance it may not be that good. It’s also a time to experience those higher end restaurants that you normally couldn’t afford but now it may fit into your budget! It’s a win-win in my book and I highly recommend. This is how my sister found her favorite restaurant, Lola, located in the Highlands neighborhood. This has become her annual staple for her birthday and really any special occasion for her and her husband.
During this week you can also find great deals on hotels. They lower their nightly costs in order to attract the restaurant week participants. This makes for a great date night! This is another great opportunity in getting to experience a “staycation” at a hotel you normally couldn’t fit into your budget.
Check out these great dining tips from Denver.org, to help enjoy Denver Restaurant week to it’s fullest. Also, the Denver Restaurant Week is not just Denver restaurants, there are restaurants that are in all neighborhoods outside of the Denver Metro Area, so make sure to take a look at the menus and all the restaurants involved. It may give you a reason to go check out an area you’ve not yet explored in Colorado!
One thing is for sure, Ray and most of us here at the Mortgage Maestro Group love food and we would love to see your pictures and hear about your experience, so please share! We are also on Instagram!
Cheers!
