Five, Four, Three, Two, One! Happy New Year! Let’s ring in the New Year Rocky Mountain style! There will be everything from polar plunges, mountain escapes, hotel celebrations in the city and even some great kids events!
If you haven’t already made plans for your New Year’s Eve celebrations I’ve gathered some great ideas that you may want to check out.
Starting with the younger ones; There will be Zoo Year’s Eve at the Denver Zoo starting at 5:30 pm, with face painting, photo booth, a DJ, Magic show and a princess meet & greet, then a countdown to ring in the New Year at 9 pm! Another great option for the kiddos is the Children’s Museum. They are having an NYC style celebration, bringing the excitement of Times Square to Colorado. They will ring in 2017 with ball drops on the hour from 10am-4pm, bubble wrap “fireworks”, fountains of confetti, music and more!
If you would like to be in the city to ring in the New Year, there will be plenty to choose from. For starters, I would like to bring to your attention the White Rose Gala at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. This party is Great Gatsby style! Dress to the 9s and celebrate 1920’s style. Attire is roaring 20’s theme with flapper dresses, feathers, suits, and hats! There are multiple rooms and music! Make sure to hurry and get your tickets, they’re almost sold out!
Resolution at the Curtis Hotel is another great option for your New Year’s Eve celebrations. Your ticket includes a premium open bar, three ballrooms, multiple breakout party rooms, DJ’s, performers, dancers and cryogenic blasts, confetti explosions, and more!
For some more local events here is a great list the Denver Ear posted, check it out!
Now, if you looking for something a little more low-key, there are plenty of mountain escapes. To name a few options there is Estes Park, Cooper Mountain, Breckenridge and let’s not forget Steamboat Springs.
Where else can you celebrate the new year with big city feel and a spectacular mountain escape! Cheers to you all, we hope you have a happy and safe New Year’s celebration!
Happy New Year!
